Terms of Service

The service

Böl helps groups track shared expenses and who owes whom. It is a record-keeping tool. Böl does not transfer money, hold funds, or act as a bank, wallet, or payment processor. How you actually pay each other is up to you.

Your account

You must provide accurate sign-in details and keep them under your control. You are responsible for activity on your account. You may delete the account at any time in Settings; see the Privacy Policy for what remains in group ledgers after deletion.

Acceptable use

Do not use Böl to:

• harass, defraud, or impersonate others;
• upload unlawful or infringing content;
• probe, disrupt, or overload the service;
• rely on Böl as the sole legal record of a debt.

Balances in Böl are estimates based on what members enter. We are not a party to your household or trip arrangements.

Böl+

Free accounts may keep two active groups. Böl+ is an auto-renewing subscription sold through the App Store (or another store where we offer it). Benefits currently include unlimited groups, advanced spending insights, receipt attachments, custom categories, and priority support.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID (or the store account you use) at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your device’s subscription settings. If you cancel, you keep Böl+ until the paid period ends; existing groups are not deleted when you return to the free plan.

Prices are shown in the store listing at purchase. Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies to the iOS app, except where these terms set out Böl-specific rules (including subscriptions).

Intellectual property

The Böl name, mark, and app are owned by Fuzion Consulting. You keep the content you add. You grant us a limited licence to host and display that content so the service can function for you and your group members.

Availability

We aim to keep Böl reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Features may change. To the extent permitted by law, Böl is provided “as is”, and Fuzion Consulting is not liable for disputes between group members or for amounts you choose to pay outside the app.
